Jacobi on a Hot Streak, S-A Player of the Week Monday, August 4th , 2025 Kalamazoo fans have something to crow about today as Kalamazoo left fielder Andy Jacobi nabbed the Southern A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Jacobi. He posted a .565 average (13-for-23) this past week with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs, and 11 runs scored. So far this season, Jacobi is batting .298 with 5 home runs, 17 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has 42 hits in 141 at-bats, 16 walks and a .371 OBP. Jacobi has played in 46 games. |
