Tampa Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Sunday, August 27th , 2023 It's back to the drawing board for the Tampa Capitals. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Tampa last appeared in the postseason in 2015. This is their 8th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Capitals have missed the playoffs 6 times. |
