League Suspends Gardner Saturday, July 26th , 2025 Dennis Gardner of Fremont got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the St. Catharines Blue Jays. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Gardner for 4 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout. "Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Gardner obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him." To date, Gardner has collected 66 hits for a .261 average. He has posted 11 home runs, scored 36 runs and driven in 35 runs. |
