Aztecs Pitching Ravaged by Semones Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Pueblo's Dave Semones made it happen against the Aztecs. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old second baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Heroes triumph, 11-1, at Heroes Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Semones said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Dave Semones hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Curtis Spears in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Kolby Thompson in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
