Comets Weatherhead Suspended 4 Games Thursday, August 15th , 2024 Noel Weatherhead of the Kalamazoo Comets has been suspended 4 games by the league for his prolonged argument with the home plate umpire during the game with Barrie at Wizards Stadium. The 24-year-old first baseman angrily protested being called out on strikes and wouldn't leave the field after his ejection. It took two coaches and his manager to physically remove the hostile Weatherhead from the field. Weatherhead is currently hitting at a .346 pace with 11 home runs, 54 RBIs and has scored 44 times. |
