Tampa Won't Make Playoffs Sunday, August 11th , 2024 Fans of the Tampa Capitals have long since given up hope of the club making a serious playoff push this season. But now those hopes are officially gone, as the club was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Capitals have made the playoffs 8 times in their 20 years as a ABA Class A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2015. In the last 10 seasons, the Capitals have made the playoffs 3 times. |
