Deltaville Eliminated from Playoff Contention Monday, August 5th , 2024 The Deltaville Deltas have struggled throughout this season and now they have officially been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "Obviously we knew things had not been going to smoothly, but this still stinks," said left fielder Steve Nalbach The Deltas have missed the playoffs 19 times in their 25 years as a ABA Class A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2019. In the last 10 seasons, the Deltas have only made the playoffs once. |
