S-A Player of the Week Awarded Monday, August 5th , 2024 What's in a number? In baseball, just about everything. The numbers that Lake Elsinore's Darius Taylor put up last week were the envy of the league, as Taylor came away with Southern A Player of the Week honors. He belted out 11 hits in 25 at-bats, 5 home runs and 14 RBIs last week as he posted his .440 batting average. In 52 games this season, Taylor has compiled a .324 batting average with 34 hits and 11 home runs. He has also scored 22 times and knocked in 30 runs. |
