The Math Says - Cottage City Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 1st , 2024 Did anyone think the Cottage City Cannonballers had a chance at the postseason this year? It was already quite unlikely, and now even the smallest hopes have been dashed -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the club's 9th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2015. In total, the Cannonballers have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 25-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Cannonballers have made the playoffs 2 times. |
