Star of the Week Named in S-A Monday, August 10th , 2026 Columbus fans have something to crow about today as Columbus center fielder Robby Parra nabbed the Southern A Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Parra. He posted a .733 average (11-for-15) this past week with 1 home run, 4 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. So far in 2026 Parra is batting .309 with 7 home runs, 33 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 90 hits in 291 at-bats and a .360 OBP. |
