Comets Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Wednesday, August 5th , 2026 There are many adjectives that can be used to describe the Kalamazoo Comets this season. Few of them are positive. And as of today, the Comets can add another descriptor -- officially eliminated from the playoffs. The Comets have made the playoffs 12 times in their 27 years as a ABA Class A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2017. In the last 10 seasons, the Comets have made the playoffs 3 times. |
