N-A Pitcher of the Year Award Goes to Ariëns Wednesday, October 21st , 2020 Ton Ariëns of the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks is in the spotlight today. He was acclaimed the best pitcher in the Northern A and will be honored with the 2020 Pitcher of the Year Award. He started 28 games and compiled a 10-3 record with an ERA of 2.41 in 156.2 innings with 114 strikeouts. He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 24. Matt Hanna of the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ricky Fernandez of the Santa Rosa Desperados finished third with 1 first place vote.
