Kovatch Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Barrie Saturday, July 13th , 2024 The 20-game hitting streak is over. Mexico City Aztecs right fielder Cameron Kovatch failed to get a hit against the Barrie Admirals and had his consecutive-game hitting streak broken. The 20-year-old went 0-for-3 in his club's 5-4 victory over the Admirals at Tony Gwynn Stadium. "I think I only made it to 20 games because I got lucky once or twice," he said. "So I guess I can't complain too much that I got unlucky and broke the streak." So far this season, Kovatch is hitting .300 with 6 home runs. |
