Star of the Week Honored in N-A Monday, July 8th , 2024 So far in his young career, Ed Montes de Oca has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Northern A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old St. Catharines Blue Jays third baseman hit at a torrid .727 clip as he collected 16 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and 7 runs scored. To date this year, Montes de Oca is batting .387 with 9 home runs. |
