Lumberjacks Win Division Series Saturday, September 19th , 2020 The Division Series may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The Bangor Lumberjacks, however, are not complaining. The Lumberjacks were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the White Deer Tropics to advance to the League Championship Series. Bangor won the final game by a 13-0 count at Ballpark of Bangor and the series 4-2. Lumberjacks third baseman Nate Roberts was named series MVP, as he hit .409 with a .480 on-base percentage. He added 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs. "It's not going to be the last time White Deer makes it to the playoffs, so it's sure a nice feeling to put them out this year," Roberts said. "We just need to keep this going and take it day by day." The Bangor Lumberjacks will play against the Dollywood Partons in the next round.
