Tropics Move on to League Championship Series Sunday, September 18th , 2022 The White Deer Tropics and Bangor Lumberjacks left it all on the field in the Division Series. The evenly-matched series featured a bit of everything and in the end, White Deer won the final game 4-1 to win the series 4-3. "Full credit to Bangor, they played a great series and pushed us to the limit. But we're a tough team to beat. The guys are playing with a lot of confidence now," said Eric Zane, who was named the series MVP for White Deer. Zane had a 0.00 ERA over 12 innings pitched. He added 19 strikeouts with a 2-0 record. The White Deer Tropics will play against the Dollywood Partons in the next round. Dollywood won their series against the Barrie Admirals 4 games to 1.
