Desperados Heading to League Championship Series Tuesday, September 13th , 2022 The Santa Rosa Desperados outclassed the Glace Bay Miners in all facets of the game throughout the N-A Division Series. The end result was a Santa Rosa series sweep to advance to the League Championship Series, capped off by a 8-3 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said third baseman Ross Myer, who hit .529 in the series. Myer's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .619 on-base percentage and had 3 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Santa Rosa Desperados don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Newark Flyers - St. Catharines Blue Jays series. Newark leads the series 3 games to 1.
