25-Game Hitting Streak for Bunton Wednesday, June 19th , 2024 Isaiah Bunton ran his hitting streak to 25 straight games at Jet Hawks Ballpark, when he collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks dropped the game, 11-0, to the Deltaville Deltas. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Bunton said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Isaiah Bunton doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th and flied out in the 6th. At present, Bunton is batting .383 with 92 hits and 17 home runs. He has knocked in 77 runs and scored 60 times. |
