5 Hits for Capitals Reyes Wednesday, July 16th , 2025 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Chris Reyes of the Tampa Capitals. Reyes went on a tear at Ballpark of Austin and cracked hit after hit off Huntsville pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond, the 21-year-old right fielder had a career 5-for-6 day and something he will long remember. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but I don't think I'll tell them we lost," he joked in the BNN postgame interview. Despite Reyes's personal accolades, the Huntsville Rockets walked off the field with the 10-8 win. Chris Reyes singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Tim Surber in the 9th.
