Johnson Cracks 5 Hits Monday, July 14th , 2025 Kevin Johnson exploded for a barrage of base hits at Dust Devils Ballpark. The Dollywood left fielder had a field day in his team's 14-7 triumph over the Lake Elsinore Storm, finishing 5-for-6. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Johnson must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Kevin Johnson singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Adam Gabriella in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
