Flood Goes 5-for-5 Against Kalamazoo Friday, August 4th , 2023 Gene Flood said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Wizards Stadium, and it showed in the box score. The Bangor center fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Kalamazoo Comets, leading his club to victory, 10-4. "I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Flood said later." Gene Flood singled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th.
