Tampa-Cottage City Brawl, Macurdy and Vega Suspended Wednesday, July 9th , 2025 Zach Macurdy of the Tampa Capitals and Omar Vega of the Cottage City Cannonballers received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Cannonballers Ballpark. So far this year, Macurdy has hit .250 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. To date this year, Vega shows a 2-17 record, 35 starts, 113.2 innings, 89 strikeouts and a 5.94 ERA. |
