Malabranca Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 7th , 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, Carlos Malabranca was in a class by himself in the Southern A this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Columbus tagged opposing pitchers for a .524 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 21 at-bats, 2 homers, 2 runs scored and 8 RBIs. Looking at his present stats, Malabranca has compiled a .289 batting average in 39 games with a .329 on-base percentage, while hitting 7 home runs and driving in 26 runs. |
