S-A's Premier Batter Picked Tuesday, August 1st , 2023 Bangor Lumberjacks fans may just have witnessed a star player blossoming before their eyes in July. Gene Flood put up a remarkable month at the age of 22 and has been named the Southern A Batter of the Month. For the month, Flood hit .381 with 6 home runs, 21 RBIs and 23 runs scored. Thus far this season, Flood has hit .315 with 12 home runs, 64 RBIs and scored 69 times. |
