White Deer Takes Division Series in Deciding Game Saturday, September 14th , 2019 When the entire season comes down to one game, Josh McIsaac said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the White Deer Tropics are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Bangor Lumberjacks 3-2 tonight at Ballpark of White Deer in order to win the Division Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said McIsaac, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." McIsaac hit .346 with a .346 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The White Deer Tropics will play against the Dollywood Partons in the next round. Dollywood won their series against the Louisville Sweepers 4 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
