Partons Advance to League Championship Series Wednesday, September 11th , 2019 The dream of raising a championship banner in Dollywood took a big step forward today. The Dollywood Partons have won the Division Series, eliminating the Louisville Sweepers to advance to the League Championship Series. Dollywood won the final game 1-0 and the series 4-1. Edward Salgado was named series MVP for a huge performance. He hit .400 with a .412 on-base percentage. He drove in 3 RBI, had 1 home runs and scored 4 runs. The Dollywood Partons don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Bangor Lumberjacks - White Deer Tropics series. Bangor leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes. |
