Columbus-White Deer Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, June 27th , 2025 Yesterday at Ballpark of Columbus Joe Cluff and Josh Fields got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Columbus Bowsers and White Deer Tropics. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game. Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Cluff will have to sit out 5 while Fields would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl. This season, Cluff is batting .320 with 65 hits and 2 home runs. He has scored 33 times and has 29 runs batted in. On the season, Fields has a 1-2 record with a 4.88 ERA. |
