Bad News for Dollywood, Trigg Injured Saturday, September 11th , 2021 Charlie Trigg is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Dollywood organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 5 months with a broken kneecap. The 21-year-old third baseman suffered the injury stealing a base in a recent game against the Weedpatch Widowmakers. This year, Trigg has hit at a .215 clip with 34 RBIs, 10 home runs and 50 runs scored. |
