Capitals Pedro Palmero Down and Out for Year Wednesday, September 8th , 2021 When Pedro Palmero was hurt against the St. Catharines Blue Jays, the Tampa Capitals were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 25-year-old reliever suffered an arthritic elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Palmero would miss 4-5 months of the season. On the season, Palmero has delivered 2 saves in 31 relief appearances. He has 43 strikeouts in 41.1 innings with a 9.58 ERA and a 2-4 mark. |
