Admirals Coates August's #1 Pitcher Sunday, September 1st , 2019 Barrie Admirals starter Noah Coates has collected the Southern A Pitcher of the Month award for a run of lights-out performances. "This town really appreciates it when you're going well," said Coates. "They might boo you when you're getting knocked around, but they love you when you're mowin' them down." In August the 22-year-old compiled a 5-1 record in 6 starts with a 1.19 ERA. He threw 37.2 innings, fanning 33 while walking 10. This year Coates has gone 8-10 with an ERA of 3.92 and has 132 strikeouts in 147 innings. |
