Playoff Bound: Tropics Win Wild Card Wednesday, September 7th , 2022 For a team that has never won a World Series, how you get to the postseason isn't the important part. The important part is simply that you get there and thus, the White Deer Tropics excitedly celebrated their Southern A wild card berth tonight. "There's only one thing that everyone on this team wants and that's to be champions. We want to bring a title home to White Deer and this is the first step," said reliever Sal Reyes. "Of course we would have loved to win the division, but we look forward to the challenge ahead." It will be the 1st ABA Class-A League championship in franchise history for the team if they can pull it off. "That's the ultimate goal," added the reliever. |
