Postseason Bid Ends for Louisville Friday, September 2nd , 2022 Opinions were split on the Louisville Sweepers this season, with some figuring they were true World Series contenders and others thinking they would fade away. The latter group has been proven correct, as the club is now mathematically eliminated from postseason contention. Louisville last appeared in the postseason in 2019. This is their 3rd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 17 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Sweepers have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
