Alcorn Named S-A Batter of the Month Thursday, September 1st , 2022 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 21 Josh Alcorn has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Bangor Lumberjacks star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Southern A Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .387 average with 10 home runs, 33 RBIs and 28 runs scored. This year, Alcorn has 23 home runs and a .360 batting average. |
