Lilienthal Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Friday, June 7th , 2024 Eric Lilienthal's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Atlanta. The 22-year-old center fielder extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 3-for-6 performance against the Long Beach Keys. The Aggies won the game, 16-7. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Eric Lilienthal grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Katsumasa Nakatsu in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. In 26 games Lilienthal is hitting .383 this season with 46 hits, 9 home runs, 31 RBIs, 17 walks, .460 OBP and has scored 37 runs. |
