Cruceta Spins 5-0 Shutout Friday, August 26th , 2022 Weedpatch hurler Jose Cruceta put on quite a show, as he blitzed the Louisville Sweepers with a 5-0 shutout. He baffled them with fastballs and changeups, allowing 2 hits with 9 strikeouts and 1 walk to pick up the win. "I think every time we were looking for a fastball, he threw a changeup and every time we were looking for a changeup, he threw a fastball," Louisville manager Steve Reid told reporters after the game.
