Kansas City-Grand Rapids Fight Results in Suspensions Sunday, June 21st , 2026 After an intense confrontation, both the Dust Devils Francisco Flores and the Jet Hawks Matt Lavender were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Kansas City-Grand Rapids game. Francisco Flores will miss 3 games, while Matt Lavender was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Francisco Flores commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this year, Flores is hitting .319 with 4 home runs.
