Long Beach Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Tuesday, August 18th , 2020 The Long Beach Keys were certainly not a team of destiny this year and now they have been eliminated from playoff contention. "We thought we had a better chance than this," said catcher Sergio Yanez. "It's a big disappointment." This is the club's 7th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2013. In total, the Keys have missed the playoffs 11 times in their 21-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Keys have missed the playoffs 6 times. Long Beach has won the World Series 3 times in their history. |
