S-A Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Gates Saturday, June 1st , 2024 For a rookie just breaking in, Danny Gates certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the S-A Batter of the Month award for May. The 23-year-old second baseman for the Long Beach Keys hit .421 with 12 home runs, 36 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Thus far this year, Gates has hit .402 with 14 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
