Long Beach Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 20th , 2022 Only the most die-hard fans thought the Long Beach Keys still had any chance at making the playoffs this season, but now even those hopes are dashed. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Long Beach last appeared in the postseason in 2013. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 13 times in their 23-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Keys have missed the playoffs 8 times. Long Beach has won the World Series 3 times in their history. |
