Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Vicari Sunday, May 31st , 2026 The Glace Bay Miners stopped the Fremont Ambassadors, 4-1, and Neil Vicari collected a base hit yet again. The Glace Bay catcher finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Vicari told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Neil Vicari doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. For the season, Vicari is batting .277 with 43 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 29 times and batted in 27. |
