St. Catharines's Jason Barbee Injured Thursday, May 9th , 2024 The season is apparently over for Jason Barbee. The St. Catharines Blue Jays medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 8-9 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Barbee was hurt in the game against Cottage City while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. So far this season, Barbee is 1-and-1 with no saves and a 7.04 ERA. He has given up 37 hits in 23 innings with 15 strikeouts. |
