Barrie Halts James's Hitting Steak
Thursday, May 9th , 2024
Freddie James went 0-for-2 at Miller Park to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 21 games. The 22-year-old Nashua third baseman failed to get a hit in the 4-3 Sweepers victory over the Barrie Admirals at Miller Park.
James did not make himself available to reporters after the game.
"I think Freddie is a little upset," Nashua manager Steve Reid said. "He'll get over it."
For the season, James is batting .429 with 39 hits and no home runs. He has scored 16 times and batted in 15.
