Year Ends for Tyler Layne in White Deer
Friday, May 29th , 2026
Tyler Layne will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the White Deer starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Layne was injured while throwing a pitch in the Tropics-Werewolves clash at Ballpark of White Deer recently. Doctors said he has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be out a minimum of 10 months.

This year, Layne has worked 58 innings with 55 strikeouts en route to a 2-4 record and a 3.41 ERA.
