James Hit Streak Soars to 20 Games

The Nashua Sweepers fell to the White Deer Tropics in Ballpark of White Deer, even as 22-year-old third baseman Freddie James upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. James finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Sweepers from dropping the 5-3 decision.

"Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said James.
Freddie James grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

Thus far this season, James has hit .435 with no home runs, 13 RBIs and scored 13 times.
