Reyes Nets S-A #1 Pitcher Award Friday, July 1st , 2022 A money pitcher -- the guy to bet on, when the chips are down. That's a very good description of a bullpen specialist. And one of the best in the league is Sal Reyes of the White Deer Tropics. He was outstanding in June and was named the Pitcher of the Month in the Southern A. In June, White Deer's star reliever held the opposition to a .191 average and put up no saves and 35 strikeouts in 35 innings with a 4-0 mark and a 2.31 ERA. This year, Reyes has made no relief appearances with no saves. In 89 innings, he has permitted 60 hits, fanned 100 hitters and recorded 8 wins and 2 losses with a 2.33 ERA. |
