S-A's #1 Batter Chosen Friday, July 1st , 2022 Weedpatch Widowmakers fans believe they've got a talented young star in Mike Winchel. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .434 with 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and 17 runs scored. The end result was the right fielder being named the Southern A Batter of the Month. For the year, Winchel has hit at a .304 clip with 53 RBIs, 17 home runs and 47 runs scored. |
