Kujawa Joins 3-HR Club Saturday, September 4th , 2021 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Atlanta Aggies. Columbus third baseman Nick Kujawa tripled up on the home runs to propel the Bowsers to a win, 14-7, at Aggies Ballpark. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Atlanta manager Jeremiah Simpson said. "Kujawa hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Kujawa collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats, 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Nick Kujawa hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 9th. |
