20-Game Hitting Streak for Richardson Saturday, July 8th , 2023 The Fremont Ambassadors fell to the Grand Rapids Jet Hawks in Ballpark of Fremont, even as 21-year-old right fielder Dan Richardson upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Richardson finished with 2 hits in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the Ambassadors from dropping the 11-4 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Richardson. Dan Richardson struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. So far this season, Richardson is batting .240 with 3 home runs. |
