Long Beach's Swan Gets S-A Player of the Week Monday, August 26th , 2019 When it came to hitting the baseball, Skyler Swan was in a class by himself in the Southern A this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Long Beach tagged opposing pitchers for a .571 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 16 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 homers, 10 runs scored and 5 RBIs. In the current season, Swan has put up a .294 batting average with 133 hits, 15 home runs, 56 RBI and scored 78 runs. |
