Miners Pitching Ravaged by Maley Tuesday, June 10th , 2025 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Jim Maley. The first baseman for the Tyler Trolls hit the milestone against the Glace Bay Miners, helping his club to a narrow 8-7 victory. Maley finished with a 5-for-5 line at the plate. "Maley was a tough out," Glace Bay manager Carlos Acevedo told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Jim Maley singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
